MDS QuickBooks Online Integration: Privacy Policy

1. What this covers.

This Privacy Policy describes how the internal MDS QuickBooks Online integration ("the Software"), operated by MDS, handles data. The Software is a private, single-tenant, internal tool.

2. What data we access.

The Software reads accounting and financial data from MDS's own QuickBooks Online company file (for example accounts, invoices, payments, and journal entries), using MDS's own administrator authorization through Intuit's OAuth 2.0.

3. What we do with it.

We store this data in MDS's own internal accounting database, hosted on MDS's own servers in the United States, for the purpose of internal accounting and reporting.

4. Sharing.

We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. Data stays on MDS systems. The Software does not process patient health information.

5. Security.

Access is limited to authorized MDS personnel and systems. Client credentials and access tokens are stored securely on MDS's own infrastructure.

6. Retention and revocation.

MDS's QuickBooks Online administrator may revoke the Software's access at any time from within QuickBooks Online. Data already stored in MDS systems is retained and managed under MDS's internal data policies.
